Description of Workshop:
Understanding Psychological Safety & Psychological Health & Safety
Psychological Safety and Psychological Health & Safety have become major areas of focus for organisations around the world. While one is focussed on interpersonal elements of work and people’s willingness to speak up, the other relates to how workplace factors can be hazardous to people’s psychological health and wellbeing.
Based on the latest international research and practical case studies, this workshop will educate participants and provide guidance on :Organizational barriers to psychological safety
· The business case for psychological health and safety
· Evidence-based practices in workplace mental health
· Understanding psychosocial hazards and risk outcomes
· Critical leadership considerations and behaviours for creating a psychologically healthy and safe working environment
The workshop will enable participants to assess the maturity of their organisations in terms of psychological safety and psychological health and safety and help them identity organisational barriers to employee mental health, performance and wellbeing.
This workshop will explore the practicalities of creating a workplace environment where employees feel safe to speak up, but where you can also identify and address the workplace factors that can be hazardous to mental health and wellbeing.
