Sub Committees
The committee at present has three (3) working groups:

H.S.S.E. Conference Sub-Committee
AMCHAM T&T’s HSSE Conference and Exhibition is the largest gathering of professionals in the fields of Health, Safety, Cyber Security, the Environment, Business Continuity, and Disaster Preparedness.
The event continues to be an effective vehicle for sharing information,
encouraging best practices and elevating national awareness.

H.S.E. Awards Sub-Committee
The National H.S.E Awards has become the de facto opportunity for businesses to benchmark their health, safety, and environmental excellence.
These Awards are intended to promote the implementation of best practice H.S.E Management Systems, which embody the classical model for continual improvement through the ‘Plan–Do–Check–Act’ cycle.

ARISE Trinidad and Tobago Sub-Committee
ARISE Trinidad & Tobago is a network designed to engage the private sector in implementing the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction at the local level. ARISE T&T operates as a subcommittee under AMCHAM T&T's HSE Committee.
AMCHAM T&T signed a MOU in 2019 with the UNDRR, becoming the lead for ARISE in Trinidad and Tobago.
Meeting Frequency
The AMCHAM T&T HSE Committee convenes on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held on a rotational basis, alternating between in-person and virtual formats. Meeting notices are distributed one week in advance to inform members accordingly.
