Stuart Franco 
President | AMCHAM T&T

Stuart Franco is the Chief Executive Officer of The TSL Group of companies and the youngest member of the board of directors, having been appointed EVP in 2011.

Stuart holds a B.A in Statistics & Economics from the University of Western Ontario and began his career at TSL in 2003 as a Sales Representative. In this role, Stuart achieved an impressive track record of high-quality salesmanship and tremendous care for his clients. 

Stuart is passionate about giving back to the community and also holds a seat on the board of directors of the TSL Foundation and has spearheaded several major projects in the role in the last two years.

In this role, he plans to continue building on the success of TSL and ensuring that the group continues to play a major role, not only in the local market but also the wider Regional Caribbean ICT arena. 

Nirad Tewarie 
CEO | AMCHAM T&T

Nirad Tewarie is the CEO of AMCHAM T&T. He has more than twenty-five years’ experience in media, communications, management, education and international relations. Nirad is also the Chairman of C15 studios, a Member of the Board of Directors of Aspire Fund Management, and the Loan for Enterprise and Network Development.

Nirad was formerly the CEO of the T&T Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI), Chairman of the Caribbean Network of Services Coalitions, a member of the Communications and Public Affairs Division of the Commonwealth Secretariat in London, UK and a columnist for the Trinidad Guardian. 

Nirad holds a BSc. in Mass Communications from Florida International University and an MSc in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations, UWI. 

Ryan Chaitram 
Communications and External Affairs Manager | BP Trinidad and Tobago LLC

Ryan Chaitram is a highly experienced and accomplished professional with over two decades of experience in the energy sector. He graduated with honors from the University of the West Indies with a BSc in Management Studies, and later earned an International Masters in Business Development and Innovation from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.
Ryan has held a number of commercial and finance roles in the energy sector, including business development. He has functioned on the board of directors for the Regulated Industries Commission, Altas Methanol and MIPED.
He is currently the Communications and External Affairs Manager at bp Trinidad and Tobago. In this role, he is responsible for managing the company's communications and public affairs efforts, as well as its engagement with government, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Ryan is an advocate for the responsible development of the energy sector. He is also a strong believer in the power of music and the arts to bring people together and create positive change. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar, writing music, recording engineering and filmmaking.

 

Diya Wynn 
Principal, Responsible AI, Public Policy | Amazon Web Services

Diya Wynn is a technology leader who has been at the forefront of digital transformation. With over 25 years of experience spanning the internet, e-commerce, social media, mobile, cloud, and now AI, she brings that expertise to her approach to the intersection of emerging technology and humanity. As a Principal, Responsible AI Lead, she is a champion for ethical, safe, inclusive AI development and empowers organizations to build trust in AI. Earlier in her career, Diya worked in startups, scaling products for acquisition, and in consulting roles. An author, international speaker, and guest lecturer on responsible and inclusive technology, she serves on multiple non-profit boards and volunteers with various organizations.

In 2023, she was named one of Business Insider’s top 15 people in Enterprise AI and top 100 people in AI and one of 100 Brilliant Women in AI EthicsTM among other industry awards. When she isn’t working hard on the future of AI, she’s working hard to influence the future. This starts at home with her two sons but extends to her dozens of mentees, whom she encourages to color outside the lines, defy the odds, and redefine boundaries.

Diya studied Computer Science at Spelman College, the Management of Technology at New York University, and AI & Ethics at MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard University Professional School. 

Craig Ramlal 
Head of the Control Systems Group and Principal Investigator | Faculty of Engineering, University of The West Indies, St. Augustine Campus

Dr. Craig Ramlal is the Head of the Control Systems Group at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Principal Investigator of the Intelligent Systems Laboratory, a centre at the Faculty of Engineering, University of The West Indies. In 2023, the United Nations recognized him as a global AI expert, appointing him to the United Nations Secretary General's High-Level Artificial Intelligence Advisory Body. He currently serves on the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers's (IEEE) Global Initiative on Ethics of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems 2.0., as an advisor to the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) on regional AI matters and CARICOM Caribbean Telecommunication Union's (CTU) Taskforce on AI. He served on the Caribbean Development Bank's technical subcommittee on IRC/RDA and worked with CARICOM IMPACS on the regionally adopted Autonomous Weapon Systems Declaration.

Dr. Ramlal completed his BSc, MASc, and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering through a program split between the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago, and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. His research focuses on Control Strategies, Artificial Intelligence, and Game Theoretic Systems. 

Arnaud van Dijk 
Deputy Head of ESG, KPMG Islands Group (KIG) | KPMG Cayman Islands

Arnaud van Dijk is a Partner at KPMG in the Cayman Islands and Deputy Head of ESG and Sustainability Services for the KPMG Islands Group (KIG), and works with clients across the Caribbean and globally to enhance their considerations of sustainability-related topics. He is also the chair of the ESG committee of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA).

He brings over 20 years of local, regional and international sustainable finance and corporate sustainability experience. Over his career, he has delivered a broad range of sustainability and impact services to leading financial institutions (banks, insurance companies and asset owners), companies and governments. 

Arnaud recently served as the lead author of Net zero readiness spotlight: Islands, a recent global thought leadership report. This report assesses 36 small island economies (SIEs) – many in the Caribbean – on their relative preparedness and ambition to achieve net zero, as well as their ability to attract private capital. He was also on the editorial board of Can Capital Markets Save the Planet? which surveyed 90 institutional investors (US$34.5 trillion in AuM) on the role of capital markets in the transition to a low-carbon world. ​

Staci Scott
Director | KPMG Cayman Islands

Staci Scott is a Director at KPMG in the Cayman Islands with more than a decade of experience across sustainability services and the financial services sector in the Caribbean and North America. As part of KPMG’s regional ESG and Sustainability Services team, she specializes in sustainability reporting and assurance; ESG strategy development and risk assessment; and finance for good; among other topic areas.

Staci is a US Certified Public Accountant and was previously a senior manager within KPMG’s asset management audit group, responsible for assessing the financial reporting and disclosures of Cayman-registered funds managed by two of the world’s largest investment managers (top 50 by assets under management). She has also worked with various operating companies, private trusts, not-for-profit entities, and multi-lateral organizations, including a secondment to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2020, where she worked to project manage UNESCO’s 150-member Global Education Coalition in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

John Outridge
Chief Executive Officer | Trinidad and Tobago International Finance Centre

John is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago International Finance Centre and is responsible for leading the company as it executes its mandate of driving digital financial services adoption across all sectors so Trinidad & Tobago can become a premier location for FinTech-enabled services and maintain its position as the Financial Hub of the region.
He has over 10 years of senior management experience and has worked for firms such as EY, and Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC). He has supported both public and private sector institutions with strategic guidance, fintech strategies as well as the modernisation of public financial management systems for various Governments throughout the region.
During his career, Mr. Outridge has amassed a wealth of expertise and experience in the areas such as -but not limited to – Digital Transformation, Payment Systems & Electronic Funds Transfer Implementation, and Strategy and Digital Operating Model Design for state enterprises and financial services organisations.
He holds a Master of Small and Medium Enterprise Management (distinction) from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, Diploma from The University of Cambridge Fintech & Regulatory Innovation program, Diploma in Governance and Public Innovation for Leaders of Latin America and the Caribbean from The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill School of Business, and lectures on programmes relating to digital and technology management for the University of Bedfordshire.

Giselle Grannum-Modeste

Senior Specialist ‑ Health and Sustainability | Pheonix Park Gas Processors Limited

Giselle Grannum-Modeste believes that humanity's success is intrinsically linked to the health of our planet. Guided by this belief, she continuously seeks to influence others to balance wealth generation with environmental preservation. In her role as 
Senior Specialist – Health & Sustainability at Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited, she led an internal team to create PPGPL’s first ESG Report.
During the same period, as Co-Vice Chair of the AMCHAM ESG Committee, she led the Industry sub-committee to develop AMCHAM’s first ESG survey. This survey gathered feedback from business professionals on the status of ESG in Trinidad and Tobago. The results were presented at the first AMCHAM ESG Conference, providing valuable insights into the establishment of ESG in T&T.
Continuing her leadership in ESG and Sustainability, Giselle is currently leading a team at PPGPL in executing a Double Materiality and Climate Risk Assessment for the organization.
With over 20 years of industry experience, Giselle has found her niche in the field of Sustainability and is always keen to share her knowledge with others, especially the younger generation.

 

Gervase Warner 
Independent Director and Strategic Advisor | Sandals Resorts International and Conscious Capitalism, Inc.

After 20 years with the Massy Group, the last 14 of which he served as the President and Group CEO of Massy Holdings Ltd., Gervase Warner is now an independent director and strategic advisor to companies and governments. Under Warner’s stewardship the Massy Group began its journey towards becoming a Conscious Company in 2013. 
This led to rebranding of the Group, identification of common purpose, vision and values as well as common methods for ensuring employee engagement, health and safety, customer service and common expectations of Massy Leaders. Warner also pioneered Massy’s transformation to a focused investment holding company through a process of divestment of non-core business and reinvestment in the Group’s core industries. 
Warner is celebrated as a trailblazing, forward-thinking captain of industry with an impressive career. Prior to joining Massy, Warner was a Partner at the international management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company, where he spent eleven years serving clients in the US, Latin America and Caribbean, and as Client Service Leader for the Caribbean, he opened McKinsey’s first Caribbean office in Puerto Rico. 
He currently serves as an independent director of Sandals Resorts International and as the Chairman of the CARICOM Private Sector Organisation (Associate Institution to the Caribbean Community to support CARICOM Heads of Government to fully implement the CARICOM Single Market and Economy). Warner holds an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, as well as BSE degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Indu Sharma
Chair | AMCHAM T&T ESG Committee, Co-Owner / Director | QED Consulting Ltd

Indu is an independent consultant/ professional having spent the majority of her career in the Trinidad and Tobago Energy Sector at Senior Executive and Board Levels with several multinational companies such as GDF SUEZ, Centrica and Methanex. Most recently at Methanex, she was the Business Development Director and was responsible for strengthening the site’s governance infrastructure and culture and managing key stakeholder relationships including government relations.
She is Attorney at Law with over 30 years' experience in the areas Corporate and Commercial Law, Energy and Banking. She is currently the Managing Partner of the legal firm of Nath Sharma and Company (NSC) which focuses on the areas of Conveyancing, Probate and Succession and Corporate and Commercial Law.        One of the strong and consistent themes in Indu’s experience and her qualifications is her passion for governance and establishing practical and bespoke corporate frameworks in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for small, medium and large enterprises both privately owned as well as publicly traded in the Caribbean region. 
In collaboration with her business partner Joanne Salazar she founded the consulting firm Q.E.D. Consulting Limited (Q.E.D.) committed to improving governance standards and practices in all sectors of the economy including improving Diversity Equity and Inclusion and Environmental and Social Governance. 
Indu serves on the Nominations Committee of the Energy Chamber ( a sub committee of the Board). She has previously served for several successive terms on the Board of the Energy Chamber which has been instrumental in influencing energy policy development in Trinidad and Tobago and she was the first Chair of its Alternate Energy and Energy Efficiency Sub Committee.

Rosemary Lall
Programme Officer - Energy, Environment and Disaster Management | UNDP Multi-Country Office, Trinidad and Tobago, Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten

Ms. Rosemary Lall has had extensive experience in development work with over 15 years professional experience within the public, private and civil society sectors both nationally and regionally. She has managed the energy, environment and disaster management portfolio at the United Nations Development Programme in Trinidad and Tobago since 2010. In this capacity she has mobilized significant grant funding for national development initiatives and has led projects and programmes centred on climate change mitigation policy and strategy, renewable energy, energy efficiency, biodiversity conservation and disaster risk reduction.  Rosemary has also been responsible for programmes and projects in Aruba, Sint Maarten and Curacao including those that strengthen cooperation and knowledge sharing across Small Island Developing States (SIDs).  
Rosemary holds a Master's in Development Studies (UWI, Mona Campus) and Bachelor's in Economics (UWI, St. Augustine) with certifications in Project Management. In her free time she enjoys hiking, swimming and latin dancing.
 

Mike Penrose
Co-Founder and Partner | Future Plus

Mike Penrose is the co-founder and a partner of The Sustainability Group. Prior to this, Mike was the executive director of Unicef UK, the CEO of Action Contre La Faim in Paris, and the global humanitarian director of Save the Children. Mike was also part of the advisory team that supported the development of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
 
As a former advisor to the FTSE on its ESG trading index, he also works with several investment firms and family offices on matching social and environmental impact with high-return investment strategies. 
 
Mike is also a world-renowned expert on risk, crisis and disaster management and has worked in this field in more than 60 countries. He has also advised many large commercial organisations on how to operate effectively and ethically in fragile environments.

Brent Mc Fee
Chief Executive Officer (Ag.) | Trinidad and Tobago Mortgage Bank

Mr. Brent Mc Fee is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Banker by profession and has over thirty-five (35) years’ experience within the financial services sector. 
Brent is a holder of an Executive MBA with distinction from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and holds an MBA from the Chartered Bankers’ Institute, where he is also a member. 
He completed the International Housing Finance Programme – Certification in Securitisation and Certification in assessing Commercial Real Estate Investments and Markets at the Wharton’s School of Business.
Brent joined Trinidad and Tobago Mortgage Bank Ltd ( formerly TTMF) in 2007 and currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer (Ag.). Brent serves as a Director of the Security Dealers Association of Trinidad and Tobago and served on the Boards of a Credit Union and of a State-Owned Enterprise.
 

Frances Bain-CumberbatchChief Legal and External Affairs Officer | Ansa McAL Limited

Frances Bain-Cumberbatch holds the role of Chief Legal and External Affairs Officer at ANSA McAL Limited, where she leverages 17 years of corporate expertise to oversee legal services, corporate governance, and stakeholder engagement. As the Corporate Secretary to the Board of ANSA McAL Limited and a Director on the Board of ANSA Bank Limited, Frances plays a vital role in upholding governance standards and driving strategic sustainability initiatives across the largest conglomerate in the Caribbean. 
Under her Leadership, ANSA McAL has earned accolades, including the Overall Sustainability Champion 2024 recognition from EUROCHAMTT. This reflects Frances's commitment to integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles throughout the organization's operations.
As an accomplished Attorney-at-law and respected voice in Leadership, she is renowned for adept management of legal affairs, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance. Her strategic acumen and collaborative approach have also garnered awards for excellence in Corporate Governance and Risk Management. 

Dean Romany

President | Guardian General Insurance Limited

Mr. Romany is the President of Guardian General Insurance Limited (GGIL) and serves as a Director on multiple boards within Guardian Group and other regional organizations. 
He has a background in property and casualty insurance, reinsurance, and risk management with over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry and is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII). 
Mr. Romany’s career began at Guardian Group, where he held several senior positions, including General Manager at Caribbean Home Insurance Company and Vice President of Technical Insurance at Guardian General. From 2004 to 2018, he served in various executive roles at Guardian Group, culminating in his appointment as President in 2018.
In addition to his leadership role at GGIL, Mr. Romany is the President of the Association of Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Companies (ATTIC). He is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute (TTII) and serves as a Director on the Board of the Insurance Association of the Caribbean Inc. (IAC).

Shinelle Grant-Sealey 

Vice - President Environment Social Governance | Guardian Group

Shinelle leads the ESG function at Guardian Group and NCB, where she is responsible for defining and executing the Company’s sustainability strategy, integrating ESG principles across operations, and advancing stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining Guardian Group, she served as a Senior Manager in Advisory Services at PwC.
With over fifteen years of proven expertise in strategic change, project management, and people-centered transformation, Shinelle has supported complex programs that drive operational excellence and foster sustainable outcomes. 
At Guardian Group, Shinelle has leveraged her deep experience to establish ESG governance frameworks, ignite a culture of sustainability, and embed sustainability into product development and risk management. 
Shinelle holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business (Canada) and a BSc in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Prosci Change Management practitioner. 

Paulina Villegas                            

Director of Sustainability for Latin America and Canada | Philip Morris International

Paulina Villegas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a Master’s in Social Responsibility from Universidad Anáhuac, and a Diploma in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge.
With over 20 years of experience in global companies, Paulina has led the design and execution of innovative ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategies, driving social impact initiatives, sustainable value chain transformation, and integrated sustainability reporting, among other key areas.
She currently serves as Director of Sustainability for Latin America and Canada at Philip Morris International, where she has been since 2012, previously holding leadership roles in Corporate Affairs. Prior to PMI, Paulina built her career at leading corporations such as Walmart and Coca-Cola, where she developed a deep expertise in corporate communications, innovation, and sustainability.
Paulina is passionate about leveraging business as a force for positive change, helping companies navigate the sustainability transformation with a focus on innovation, stakeholder engagement, and long-term social impact.

Kyanna Bowen                           

Executive Director | UN Global Compact Network 

Ms. Kyana Bowen was appointed Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network Caribbean in May 2024. Prior to joining the UN Global Compact, Kyana was the National Project Coordinator (2023 – 2024) for the ILO Caribbean Office implementing the SDG Fund Joint Programme, “Resilient Caribbean: Engaging and Training Youth, Strengthening Integrated Social Protection Sector Delivery" across three countries. 
Kyana also held the position of Programme Officer – Humanitarian, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Resilience with the UN Women Multi Country Office – Caribbean for three years (2020 – 2022). In this role, Kyana was the UN Women Project Manager for the Enabling Gender-Responsive Disaster Recovery, Climate, and Environmental Resilience in the Caribbean (EnGenDER) Project, which was implemented across nine Caribbean countries.  
Kyana graduated from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus with a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, as well as with an undergraduate degree in Social Work. Kyana is also a proud alumnus of St. François Girls’ College. 

Nigel Sabga                             

Executive Director | Ansa Merchant Bank 

A. Nigel Sabga joined ANSA Merchant Bank in 2009. His career has predominantly been in Investment Management where he has guided the investment operations of ANSA Merchant Bank and its subsidiaries. He also sits on the various Investment Committees across the ANSA McAL Group. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of ANSA Merchant Bank (Barbados) Limited,  ANSA Wealth Management Limited and the ANSA McAL Foundation.  

Mariana Escobar Uribe

Senior Operations Officer and Project Lead | International Finance Corporation, World Bank Group

Mariana Escobar Uribe is a Senior Operations Officer and Project Lead for the Regional Taxonomy at the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group. She previously served as Head of Sustainable Finance at the Financial Superintendency of Colombia, where she was responsible for the entity’s Green Finance and Climate Risk strategy. She also worked as an advisor to the Superintendent, supporting the development of the SFC’s innovation strategy and advancing initiatives to deepen financial inclusion.
Before her time at the SFC, Mariana was Deputy Director at the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies of Colombia and an advisor at the Department of Social Prosperity. She also worked at Citi Colombia as Sustainability Manager and as the representative of the Citi Foundation in Colombia.
Mariana holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Bentley University and a Master’s in International Affairs and Development from Columbia University.

Keisha Garcia 
ESG Natural Capital Lead |ANSA Merchant Bank

Ms. Keisha Garcia is the ESG Natural Capital Lead at ANSA Merchant Bank Limited. She leads the design and implementation of an ESG Strategy for the ANSA McAL Banking Sector, and she spearheads the Bank’s Caribbean programme on Natural Capital. She serves as a vice-chair of the AMCHAM ESG Committee.
Keisha has a global career spanning over 20 years in the field of sustainable development. 
She represents the Banks and serves in a leadership role in several international initiatives including: the United Nations Environment Programme International Resource Panel; the Seventh Global Environmental Outlook of the UN Environment Programme, the Global Integrity Council for the Validation of Science-based Targets for Nature; the Capitals Coalition Global Advisory Panel; Advisory Board for a global project titled ‘Strengthening Understanding and Strategies of Business to Assess and Integrate Nature (SUSTAIN)’; and the High-level Selection Panel for the European Biodiversity Fund, Biodiversa+. 
Ms. Garcia holds a Bachelor of Science (Zoology: First Class Honours) and a Master of Philosophy in Zoology with a specialisation in Environmental Toxicology from the UWI St. Augustine; and a second Masters of Philosophy in “Environment and Development” from the University of Cambridge, England. She is the recipient of two national scholarships from the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago; a postgraduate scholarship from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine and a British Commonwealth Professional Fellowship Scholarship.
