Ryan Chaitram

Communications and Advocacy Manager

Ryan Chaitram is a highly experienced and accomplished professional with over two decades of experience in the energy sector. He graduated with honors from the University of the West Indies with a BSc in Management Studies, and later earned an International Masters in Business Development and Innovation from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.

Ryan has held a number of commercial and finance roles in the energy sector, including business development. He has functioned on the board of directors for the Regulated Industries Commission, Altas Methanol and MIPED.

He is currently the Communications and External Affairs Manager at bp Trinidad and Tobago. In this role, he is responsible for managing the company's communications and public affairs efforts, as well as its engagement with government, regulators, and other stakeholders.

Ryan is an advocate for the responsible development of the energy sector. He is also a strong believer in the power of music and the arts to bring people together and create positive change. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar, writing music, recording engineering and filmmaking.
