Michael Shand

Michael Shand is a family man, adventurer, passionate about the arts and, is known to have painted a wide range of complex sceneries and portraits himself. He is a firm believer that nothing is impossible and that everyone has the ability to change the world. 

He is a graduate of the University Greenwich, majoring in Occupational Health and Safety. Michael went on to complete multiple post grad diplomas in Operational and Enterprise Risk Management, Quality Assurance, Sustainability, Change Management, Business Transformation and, Business Continuity and Resilience out of a variety of accredited academic institutions, globally. 

Having tenure in the NAM – North America, UK – United Kingdom, EU – European Union, MENA – Middle East and North Africa, APAC – Asia Pacific and now LATAM – Latin American regions, servicing Energy and Chemicals, Mining and Minerals, Mission / Government Services and Operations and Maintenance business streams, Michael is truly a global practitioner with a practical global perspective of 21+ years of concept through to execution, commissioning, operations and decommissioning experience of an estimated 70 billion in TIC projects. 

Michael’s recent contributions in the field of innovation includes the concept an operationalizing of fuel source transitions for the marine sectors, personnel monitoring technologies for safety and time on tools applications, Construction 3D printing, augmented reality and process safety and constructability applications, CVD19 response and digital transformation to support continuity, energy transition and others. 

Michael, currently working out of the Stork Technical Services Trinidad and Tobago offices, with the remit of Business Development and Strategic Management and, Global Quality KPO for all of Stork and its Business Units across the world.
