​​​O​n January 29, 2026 AMCHAM T&T hosted its annual AMCHAM T&T–U.S. Embassy Partnership Reception at the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence on Flagstaff Hill. The event brought together senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps and executives from many of AMCHAM T&T’s 300-member companies. The reception, which was organised in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Port of Spain, served as a celebration of AMCHAM T&T’s member companies and the vital role they play in driving economic growth, trade and investment.
Delivering welcome remarks on behalf of Dr. Jenifer Neidhart de Ortiz, Chargé d'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy was Scott Hansen, Ag. Deputy Chief of Mission, who emphasised the longstanding ties between both nations and said “We will always prioritise T&T.”

AMCHAM T&T President Anna Henderson highlighted the importance of sustained collaboration and underscored the significance of long-standing diplomatic and commercial ties, reinforcing the need for continued engagement between business leaders, policymakers and international stakeholders.“AMCHAM T&T remains committed to creating spaces for dialogue, collaboration and meaningful engagement,” she stated. Her remarks also reinforced the Chamber’s role as a bridge between sectors, advocating for stronger public-private collaboration.

The reception underscored AMCHAM T&T’s continued commitment to facilitating high-level engagement and strengthening public-private collaboration. By bringing together key stakeholders in an atmosphere of dialogue and partnership, the event reinforced the Chamber’s role as a bridge between business, government, and international partners—working collectively toward shared progress and sustainable economic development.
