The Honourable Jearlean John, Minister of Works and Infrastructure, and Daniel Best, President of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), will headline the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad and Tobago’s (AMCHAM T&T) 4th Annual ESG Conference, taking place on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad in Port of Spain.
Held under the theme “Navigating Uncertainty: Sustainability, Resilience and the Future of Business,” the conference will bring together business and government leaders to examine why ESG remains relevant to business strategy – particularly as organisations navigate economic pressures, climate risks, technological change, geopolitical disruption and evolving expectations from investors and other stakeholders.
For AMCHAM T&T, the conversation is not about following a trend. It is about recognising the connection between responsible business practices and long-term business performance.

Daniel Best, President of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), will deliver the Keynote Address, bringing a regional perspective to the role of sustainable development, investment and resilience in shaping the future of Caribbean economies.
The Honourable Jearlean John, Minister of Works and Infrastructure, will deliver the Feature Address at the Opening Ceremony, helping to frame the broader connection between sustainability, infrastructure, resilience and national development.
