Amaru Liendo currently serves as General Manager for SC Johnson in Venezuela and in the Andean Region (Colombia, Ecuador and Peru) . He was announced as President of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce (VenAmCham) for the 2025–2026 term. In addition, Mr. Liendo is Vice – President of the Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America and the Caribbean (AACCLA).Mr. Liendo is a Certified Public Accountant from the Central University of Venezuela(UCV), holds a Master’s degree in Finance from IESA, and is an alumnus of the Applied Psychology for Business program at Columbia Business School. He also completed the Global Leadership Program at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and also completed the YPO Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.In 2024, he participated in Paris in the Future Leaders Invitation Program organized by the Center for Analysis, Planning and Strategy of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.In addition to his corporate leadership, Mr. Liendo is a professor of Finance at UCV and co-creator of the Responsible Leadership course at Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administracio n (IESA) that is Venezuela’s leading business school, founded in 1965, internationally accredited and dedicated to training professionals, executives, and entrepreneurs to assume leadership roles and contribute to organizational and societal development. He served as President of Dividendo Voluntario para la Comunidad (DVC) – United Way Venezuela, from 2020 to 2023. DVC is a nonprofit civil association founded in 1964. The organization channels private sector efforts into social development initiatives, partnering with communities, authorities, and NGOs to improve quality of life across Venezuela.
