Anna Henderson
President, AMCHAM T&T & Chief Executive Officer, Amaranth Business Solutions
Mrs. Anna Henderson has over twenty (25) years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Organizational Leadership and Strategic Management. In 2007, as Director-Sales and Marketing, Mrs. Henderson played a pivotal role in the Change Management needed to ensure the smooth transitioning of Pereira & Company Ltd. from a privately-owned company to a strategic acquisition in the widely known, Regional Conglomerate, Massy. Appointed to the position of CEO in 2009, Mrs. Henderson has guided the company in doubling its profitability by strengthening its core printing and imaging business, focused development of the Office Interiors Division and growing its regional business in the Eastern Caribbean countries. Most notably, in 2011, she led Massy Technologies Applied Imaging through a successful bid process for the relocation of Parliament. Here, she successfully led her team in setting a new standard for the local construction and project management industry by completing and outfitting 70,000 square feet of office space in less than eleven (11) weeks.
Mrs. Henderson holds a BA in Marketing from the University of St. Mary’s, Minnesota, and has completed leadership courses at the Richard Ivey School in London, Ontario and Leadership Management Institute. She is considered an expert in the areas of Technology, Strategic Leadership, and People Development. Mrs. Henderson has held numerous board positions, including chairman for the Massy Share Ownership Plan.
Nirad Tewarie
Chief Executive Officer, AMCHAM T&T
Nirad Tewarie is the CEO of AMCHAM T&T. He has more than twenty-five years’ experience in media, communications, management, education and international relations. Nirad is also the Chairman of C15 studios, a Member of the Board of Directors of Aspire Fund Management, and the Loan for Enterprise and Network Development.
Passionate about youth development and using his expertise for good, Nirad is the Chairman of the 50-year-old, San Juan Jabloteh Sports Club and Manager of the Hillview College Football Teams, where he oversaw the promotion of the Senior Team to the Championship Division of the Secondary Schools’ Football League after just one season.
Nirad was formerly the CEO of the T&T Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI), Chairman of the Caribbean Network of Services Coalitions, a member of the Communications and Public Affairs Division of the Commonwealth Secretariat in London, UK and a columnist for the Trinidad Guardian.
A keen supporter of the arts, Nirad is an Associate Producer of Bazodee the Movie, and the former Chairman of the Cabinet Appointed Fashion Industry Development Committee.
Nirad holds a BSc. in Mass Communications from Florida International University and an MSc in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations, UWI. He regularly speaks at regional conferences on matters related to technology & economic development.
Niel Harper
Cybersecurity & Digital Trust Leader; Advisory, ITU & ISACA, CyCIS
Niel Harper is deeply committed to ensuring that individuals and organizations consistently benefit from safety, privacy, security, reliability, and data ethics when using online platforms. He has spent the last 20 years leading on Digital Trust initiatives at global organizations such as Aspen Institute, Canonical, CIBC, Deloitte, Doodle, European Commission, Hugo, INTERPOL, United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), and the World Economic Forum, among others. Niel specializes in corporate governance, cybersecurity, privacy & data protection, enterprise risk management, digital transformation, and Internet governance & policy.
Niel’s professional contributions have been recognized with the Security Magazine Top Cybersecurity Leaders Award (2025), ISC2 Global Achievement Award (2024), ISJ Caribbean Security & Resilience Award (2021), and the ISACA Technology for Humanity Award (2021). He was featured in the 2024 Lacework Modern CISO Board Book which highlighted “extraordinary board-ready global security leaders.” Recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader (2014) and by the Internet Society as a Next Generation Leader (2011). He previously served on the UK Cyber Security Council’s Professional Standards Working Group, United Nations Information Security Special Interest Group (UNISSIG), ISACA Foundation, and the World Economic Forum’s Cyber Risk & Corporate Governance Working Group and Digital Trust Initiative. Niel currently serves in corporate advisory positions at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and ISACA. Niel holds/has held fellowships to the British Computer Society, Royal Society of Arts, OECD Technology Foresight Forum, American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN), and CIFAL.
He has earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in Internet Law & Policy from the University of Strathclyde specialising in cybercrime, privacy, and security; Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Leicester; CERT Certificate in Cyber-Risk Oversight and Executive Certificate in Effective AI Oversight from Carnegie Mellon University; Executive Certificate in Cybersecurity Strategy & Leadership from Florida International University; and has completed executive programs at University of Oxford, Stanford University, Nanyang Technological University, and Boston University. Niel has obtained key industry certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CDPSE, and CISSP.
He has been featured in global media publications such as Captive Insurance Times, Computer Weekly, CSO Online, IBM Security Intelligence, Infosecurity Magazine, KPMG Business Banking, New York Times, Security Magazine, Tech Monitor, and the World Economic Forum Davos Agenda.
Niel is the 2026 recipient of the ISC2 Harold F. Tipton Lifetime Achievement Award, which is the highest tribute bestowed in the cybersecurity industry. Named after Harold F. Tipton – who is widely known as the ”George Washington of information security” - the award honors an individual who has served with sustained excellence, distinction, and impact throughout their entire career.
ISC2 is the world's largest cybersecurity professional membership organisation, with over 650,000 community members globally.
Niel is married and has 4 children (3 girls and a boy).
Carmel Haynes
Executive Director, Barbados International Business Association
Carmel Haynes is a respected voice in the global business community and a champion for private sector development in Barbados. As Executive Director of the Barbados International Business Association (BIBA), the island’s leading association for international financial services, trade, logistics, and corporate services, Carmel leads strategic advocacy and supports over 130 member firms in advancing Barbados’ position as a hub for global business.
In her role, she also serves on the Board of the Barbados Private Sector Association, participating in the country’s Social Partnership, a national tripartite body chaired by the Prime Minister. This unique governance model brings together government, business, and labour to collaborate on solutions to the country’s economic and social challenges.
Carmel previously served as the Caribbean and Southeast U.S. Regional Representative for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) from 2014 to 2020, where she spearheaded professional recognition, membership growth, and strategic partnerships across government and private sector entities throughout the region. She began her career in journalism with the Nation Publishing Co. Ltd and has since built a strong portfolio in communications and stakeholder engagement, with roles at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, among others.
Carmel holds a BA (Hons.) in Literature in English from the University of the West Indies and a Postgraduate Diploma (Merit) in International Business Management from the University of Surrey. She has also completed professional certifications in International Trade Policy, Project Management, and Business Etiquette and Diplomacy.
She is a Director of the Trinidad-based Caribbean Corporate Governance Institute; a founding board member of the Barbados Association of Professional Communicators and a past Vice President of the International Association of Business Communicators (Barbados Chapter); a charter director of the Progressive Optimist Club of Barbados (a charter club of Optimist International); as well as a Member of the Florida Society for Association Executives.
Edward Millington
Founder and Chairman, Caribbean Chartered Institute of Cyber and Information Security (CyCIS)
Edward Millington is one of the world's foremost leaders at the intersection of cybersecurity governance, digital sovereignty, and institutional transformation. With nearly three decades shaping how governments, financial institutions, and critical infrastructure operators defend and govern the digital domain, he has earned his standing not through title but through consequence — building institutions from the ground up, creating frameworks to be adopted across regions, and consistently operating at the frontier of where technology, policy, and human resilience converge. A peer-elected Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (FCIIS), EU CyberNet Expert, and Commonwealth Caribbean Cyber Fellow and Co-Chair, he is recognised globally as both a practitioner and a statesman of the digital age.
As Founder and Chairman of the Caribbean Chartered Institute of Cyber and Information Security (CyCIS) and Founder and Managing Director of CariSec Global Inc., Millington has done what few in the profession have: built the institutions, professional standards, and human capacity pipelines that an entire region depends on. He is the architect of the Unified Digital Operational Resilience (Unified DOR) Framework — converging ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, NIST CSF 2.0, and ISO/IEC 42001 into a single governance architecture for the AI era — and the Caribbean DORE Certification standard, positioning the Caribbean as a global model for resilience in Small Island Developing States. His prior decade leading national cybersecurity strategy for the Government of Barbados, including its Digital ID and Electronic Single Window programmes, gives his leadership the weight of hard-won, real-world consequence.
Millington carries the Caribbean's digital voice onto the world stage — as an author, speaker, and policy architect. His published works on AI governance, boardroom digital liability, and operational resilience have appeared in PECB Insights Magazine, the Chartered Institute of Information Security Pulse Magazine, and Top Cyber News Magazine, including a 2022 front-cover feature. He has addressed international forums, including CyberWeek@LAC4, the Aliv Business Cyber Resilience Summit, the Caribbean Corporate Governance Institute Governance Week, the UWI Five Island AI Conference, the Caribbean Risk Management Academy Annual Conference, Deloitte/USAID critical infrastructure webinars, and the BIBA BRIM 2026 Conference.
His conviction is straightforward: digital resilience is not a technical problem — it is a leadership imperative. And the Caribbean is not waiting to be shown the way. It is building it.
Javed Sajad
Manager, AI Governance and Privacy, Dynamic Management Services
Javed Sajad is a Global Consultant, Attorney-at-Law and Technology law specialist who helps organisations effectively maneuver AI governance, privacy, cybersecurity and emerging technology. He has worked with businesses, non-profits, governments and international organisations across the Caribbean, Latin America, United States, United Kingdom and Europe on cybersecurity, internet governance, privacy, and AI. He is the Manager of AI governance and Privacy at Dynamic Management Services NJ, USA, and a former Legal Counsel at Trinidad and Tobago’s Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs. Javed combines international regulatory experience with more than 14 years of practical legal and policy expertise. He is also Vice Chair of the Internet Society Trinidad and Tobago Chapter and an AI consultant for international non-profits.
Wayne John
Cybersecurity Specialist, Atlantic LNG Company of Trinidad and Tobago
Wayne John is an experienced cybersecurity professional with over 25 years of experience across the energy and technology sectors, having held technical, supervisory and leadership roles within various organisations in the oil and gas industry. As Cybersecurity Specialist at Atlantic, Wayne supports the organisation's cybersecurity strategy, governance and risk management initiatives across Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. He also leads the operationalisation of Atlantic's Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management programme, strengthening third-party risk governance and integrating cybersecurity considerations throughout the supplier lifecycle.
His experience spans enterprise cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, incident response, information security governance and the development of risk-based cybersecurity frameworks. Wayne is passionate about advancing organisational cyber resilience by bridging the gap between cybersecurity and business operations, promoting industry collaboration and strengthening the integration of cybersecurity into supply chain and enterprise risk management.
Shiva V.N. Parasram
Founder and Executive Director, Computer Forensics and Security Institute (CFSI),
Shiva V.N. Parasram is the Founder and Executive Director of the Computer Forensics and Security Institute (CFSI), the only EC-Council Authorized Training Centre (ATC) in the Caribbean. He currently serves as an IT Risk Consultant and Technology Risk Manager to the Government of Barbados' National Cybersecurity Unit under the Ministry of Information, Science and Technology (MIST), and is also an InfoSec Risk Consultant to CIBC Caribbean Bank.
He holds an MSc in Network Security with Distinction, and is the only EC-Council Certified EC-Council Instructor (CEI) in the Caribbean. His certifications include CEH Master, CCISO, CHFI, ECIH, CSA, CND, CTIA, ECES, ICS/SCADA, CCNA, CRAGE, CAIPM and several other international certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco and Forinet.
Shiva is the author of four cybersecurity books on Digital Forensics and Penetration Testing published by Packt Publishing, referenced at postgraduate level by universities in the United States. He also authored the only CARICOM and Caribbean Ransomware Report over the past 3 years and is one of the only ransomware and dark web threat researchers in the Caribbean. He has lectured academically at UWI, COSTAATT and SBCS, and continues to build CFSI as a long-term institutional legacy for cybersecurity training and MSSP (Managed Security Services Provider) services regionally and internationally.
