Anna Henderson
President, AMCHAM T&T & Chief Executive Officer, Amaranth Business Solutions
Mrs. Anna Henderson has over twenty (25) years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Organizational Leadership and Strategic Management. In 2007, as Director-Sales and Marketing, Mrs. Henderson played a pivotal role in the Change Management needed to ensure the smooth transitioning of Pereira & Company Ltd. from a privately-owned company to a strategic acquisition in the widely known, Regional Conglomerate, Massy. Appointed to the position of CEO in 2009, Mrs. Henderson has guided the company in doubling its profitability by strengthening its core printing and imaging business, focused development of the Office Interiors Division and growing its regional business in the Eastern Caribbean countries. Most notably, in 2011, she led Massy Technologies Applied Imaging through a successful bid process for the relocation of Parliament. Here, she successfully led her team in setting a new standard for the local construction and project management industry by completing and outfitting 70,000 square feet of office space in less than eleven (11) weeks.
Mrs. Henderson holds a BA in Marketing from the University of St. Mary’s, Minnesota, and has completed leadership courses at the Richard Ivey School in London, Ontario and Leadership Management Institute. She is considered an expert in the areas of Technology, Strategic Leadership, and People Development. Mrs. Henderson has held numerous board positions, including chairman for the Massy Share Ownership Plan.
Nirad Tewarie

Nirad Tewarie is the CEO of AMCHAM T&T. He has more than twenty-five years’ experience in media, communications, management, education and international relations. Nirad is also the Chairman of C15 studios, a Member of the Board of Directors of Aspire Fund Management, and the Loan for Enterprise and Network Development.
Passionate about youth development and using his expertise for good, Nirad is the Chairman of the 50-year-old, San Juan Jabloteh Sports Club and Manager of the Hillview College Football Teams, where he oversaw the promotion of the Senior Team to the Championship Division of the Secondary Schools’ Football League after just one season.
Nirad was formerly the CEO of the T&T Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI), Chairman of the Caribbean Network of Services Coalitions, a member of the Communications and Public Affairs Division of the Commonwealth Secretariat in London, UK and a columnist for the Trinidad Guardian.
A keen supporter of the arts, Nirad is an Associate Producer of Bazodee the Movie, and the former Chairman of the Cabinet Appointed Fashion Industry Development Committee.
Nirad holds a BSc. in Mass Communications from Florida International University and an MSc in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations, UWI. He regularly speaks at regional conferences on matters related to technology & economic development.
Niel Harper

Niel Harper is deeply committed to ensuring that individuals and organizations consistently benefit from safety, privacy, security, reliability, and data ethics when using online platforms. He has spent the last 20 years leading on Digital Trust initiatives at global organizations such as Aspen Institute, Canonical, CIBC, Deloitte, Doodle, European Commission, Hugo, INTERPOL, United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), and the World Economic Forum, among others. Niel specializes in corporate governance, cybersecurity, privacy & data protection, enterprise risk management, digital transformation, and Internet governance & policy.
Niel’s professional contributions have been recognized with the Security Magazine Top Cybersecurity Leaders Award (2025), ISC2 Global Achievement Award (2024), ISJ Caribbean Security & Resilience Award (2021), and the ISACA Technology for Humanity Award (2021). He was featured in the 2024 Lacework Modern CISO Board Book which highlighted “extraordinary board-ready global security leaders.” Recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader (2014) and by the Internet Society as a Next Generation Leader (2011). Niel is the 2026 recipient of the ISC2 Harold F. Tipton Lifetime Achievement Award, which is the highest tribute bestowed in the cybersecurity industry. Named after Harold F. Tipton – who is widely known as the ”George Washington of information security” - the award honors an individual who has served with sustained excellence, distinction, and impact throughout their entire career.

Carmel Haynes
Board of Governor, Caribbean Chartered Institute of Cyber & Information Security (CyCIS)
Carmel Haynes is a respected voice in the global business community and a champion for private sector development in Barbados. As Executive Director of the Barbados International Business Association (BIBA), the island’s leading association for international financial services, trade, logistics, and corporate services, Carmel leads strategic advocacy and supports over 130 member firms in advancing Barbados’ position as a hub for global business.
In her role, she also serves on the Board of the Barbados Private Sector Association, participating in the country’s Social Partnership, a national tripartite body chaired by the Prime Minister. This unique governance model brings together government, business, and labour to collaborate on solutions to the country’s economic and social challenges.
Carmel previously served as the Caribbean and Southeast U.S. Regional Representative for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) from 2014 to 2020, where she spearheaded professional recognition, membership growth, and strategic partnerships across government and private sector entities throughout the region. She began her career in journalism with the Nation Publishing Co. Ltd and has since built a strong portfolio in communications and stakeholder engagement, with roles at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, among others.
Carmel holds a BA (Hons.) in Literature in English from the University of the West Indies and a Postgraduate Diploma (Merit) in International Business Management from the University of Surrey. Edward Millington
Founder and Chairman, Caribbean Chartered Institute of Cyber and Information Security (CyCIS)
Edward Millington is one of the world's foremost leaders at the intersection of cybersecurity governance, digital sovereignty, and institutional transformation. With nearly three decades shaping how governments, financial institutions, and critical infrastructure operators defend and govern the digital domain, he has earned his standing not through title but through consequence — building institutions from the ground up, creating frameworks to be adopted across regions, and consistently operating at the frontier of where technology, policy, and human resilience converge. A peer-elected Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (FCIIS), EU CyberNet Expert, and Commonwealth Caribbean Cyber Fellow and Co-Chair, he is recognised globally as both a practitioner and a statesman of the digital age.
As Founder and Chairman of the Caribbean Chartered Institute of Cyber and Information Security (CyCIS) and Founder and Managing Director of CariSec Global Inc., Millington has done what few in the profession have: built the institutions, professional standards, and human capacity pipelines that an entire region depends on. He is the architect of the Unified Digital Operational Resilience (Unified DOR) Framework — converging ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, NIST CSF 2.0, and ISO/IEC 42001 into a single governance architecture for the AI era — and the Caribbean DORE Certification standard, positioning the Caribbean as a global model for resilience in Small Island Developing States. His prior decade leading national cybersecurity strategy for the Government of Barbados, including its Digital ID and Electronic Single Window programmes, gives his leadership the weight of hard-won, real-world consequence.
Millington carries the Caribbean's digital voice onto the world stage — as an author, speaker, and policy architect. His published works on AI governance, boardroom digital liability, and operational resilience have appeared in PECB Insights Magazine, the Chartered Institute of Information Security Pulse Magazine, and Top Cyber News Magazine, including a 2022 front-cover feature. Javed Sajad

Javed Sajad is a Global Consultant, Attorney-at-Law and Technology law specialist who helps organisations effectively maneuver AI governance, privacy, cybersecurity and emerging technology. He has worked with businesses, non-profits, governments and international organisations across the Caribbean, Latin America, United States, United Kingdom and Europe on cybersecurity, internet governance, privacy, and AI. He is the Manager of AI governance and Privacy at Dynamic Management Services NJ, USA, and a former Legal Counsel at Trinidad and Tobago’s Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs. Javed combines international regulatory experience with more than 14 years of practical legal and policy expertise. He is also Vice Chair of the Internet Society Trinidad and Tobago Chapter and an AI consultant for international non-profits.
Wayne John
Cybersecurity Specialist, Atlantic LNG Company of Trinidad and Tobago
Wayne John is an experienced cybersecurity professional with over 25 years of experience across the energy and technology sectors, having held technical, supervisory and leadership roles within various organisations in the oil and gas industry. As Cybersecurity Specialist at Atlantic, Wayne supports the organisation's cybersecurity strategy, governance and risk management initiatives across Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. He also leads the operationalisation of Atlantic's Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management programme, strengthening third-party risk governance and integrating cybersecurity considerations throughout the supplier lifecycle.
His experience spans enterprise cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, incident response, information security governance and the development of risk-based cybersecurity frameworks. Wayne is passionate about advancing organisational cyber resilience by bridging the gap between cybersecurity and business operations, promoting industry collaboration and strengthening the integration of cybersecurity into supply chain and enterprise risk management.
Shiva V.N. Parasram
Founder and Executive Director, Computer Forensics and Security Institute (CFSI),
Shiva V.N. Parasram is the Founder and Executive Director of the Computer Forensics and Security Institute (CFSI), the only EC-Council Authorized Training Centre (ATC) in the Caribbean. He currently serves as an IT Risk Consultant and Technology Risk Manager to the Government of Barbados' National Cybersecurity Unit under the Ministry of Information, Science and Technology (MIST), and is also an InfoSec Risk Consultant to CIBC Caribbean Bank.
He holds an MSc in Network Security with Distinction, and is the only EC-Council Certified EC-Council Instructor (CEI) in the Caribbean. His certifications include CEH Master, CCISO, CHFI, ECIH, CSA, CND, CTIA, ECES, ICS/SCADA, CCNA, CRAGE, CAIPM and several other international certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco and Forinet.
Shiva is the author of four cybersecurity books on Digital Forensics and Penetration Testing published by Packt Publishing, referenced at postgraduate level by universities in the United States. He also authored the only CARICOM and Caribbean Ransomware Report over the past 3 years and is one of the only ransomware and dark web threat researchers in the Caribbean. He has lectured academically at UWI, COSTAATT and SBCS, and continues to build CFSI as a long-term institutional legacy for cybersecurity training and MSSP (Managed Security Services Provider) services regionally and internationally.
Travais “Tee” Sookoo

Travais “Tee” Sookoo brings over 25 years of experience in network security, risk management, and enterprise security architecture, helping organizations across the Caribbean strengthen their cyber resilience and navigate evolving digital risks. He currently serves as a Security Engineer with Check Point Software Technologies, advising organizations on cybersecurity strategy, secure digital transformation, Zero Trust, security architecture, and proactive risk mitigation.
In addition to his industry work, Tee lectures in Cybersecurity at the university level, helping to develop the next generation of security professionals. He is also an AI and cybersecurity researcher, exploring the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital risk.
With experience spanning both technical and strategic aspects of cybersecurity, Tee brings a practical perspective that connects technology, governance, risk, and business objectives. He holds a Master’s degree with Distinction in Cybersecurity and a BSc in Computer Science, and holds professional certifications including CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSK, CCSM.
Richard Look Kin

With more than 25 years of experience across banking, investment management, and risk management, he has held progressively senior leadership roles at regional and international financial institutions, developing deep expertise in corporate banking, investment banking, enterprise risk management, and strategic risk oversight.
Throughout his career, Richard has played a pivotal role in strengthening risk governance frameworks, enhancing organizational resilience, and supporting sustainable growth across complex financial institutions. As a senior risk executive, Richard is particularly passionate about risk culture, financial stability, governance, and the role of innovation and emerging technologies in shaping the future of financial services across the Caribbean.
An active contributor to the regional business community, Richard previously served as a Director of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad and Tobago (AMCHAM TT) and is a former President and Director of CFA Society Trinidad & Tobago, where he helped advance professional standards and financial education within the industry.

Dr. Michael J. Taylor
Physician, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, BiosyncX
Dr Michael Taylor is a physician with more than a decade in hospital medicine in Trinidad and Tobago, and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BiosyncX, a physician-led executive performance, risk mitigation and governance company. He has managed more than 100,000 patients and clients, and has served as Registrar in Internal Medicine at Arima General Hospital, responsible for critical care and acute decompensation. In 2026 he served as Clinical Judge for the CariSurg MedTech Pathways healthcare AI programme, assessing machine learning tools built to predict triage acuity in Caribbean emergency departments, scored on patient safety, ethics, workflow integration and whether their predictions could be trusted in practice.
His focus is executive performance, risk mitigation and longevity: how health, cognition and decision quality hold up under sustained pressure over a long horizon. He uses large language models daily in clinical and business workflows and appraises their output the way he appraises a study or a biomarker, for what it supports, what it does not, and who is accountable before it informs a decision. At BiosyncX every clinical claim in a client report is reviewed by a physician before it is issued.
Dearl Bain

Dearl Bain is a seasoned risk and governance executive with over 20 years of experience in enterprise risk management, cybersecurity governance, business continuity, operational resilience, compliance, and strategic transformation within the financial services sector across Trinidad & Tobago.
As a Chief Risk Officer, he leads enterprise-wide initiatives focused on risk strategy, cyber resilience, information security governance, business continuity, regulatory compliance, operational risk, AI governance and emerging technology risk. Nigel Edwards

Mr. Edwards is an accomplished finance executive who serves as the Executive Director of the Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust Corporation (UTC). He brings over 25 years of deep industry expertise spanning asset management, insurance, and strategic finance. Prior to leading UTC, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Tatil Life and held key executive leadership positions across the ANSA McAL Group.

Raj Ramdass

Dharamrajh Ramdass, widely known as Raj, is an Electrical Engineer specializing in Computer Controls and a trailblazer in integrating technology into education. Raj began his journey as an educator in 1991 and has since become a leading advocate for leveraging digital tools to transform learning environments. As the former Head of the ICT Department at San Fernando Technical Institute, he spearheaded numerous innovative projects aimed at modernizing education through technology.
In 2024, Raj led a youth team to Dubai for an AI and Robotics competition centered on Youth Climate Action. Their groundbreaking project won the prestigious AWS Innovators Award, a testament to Raj’s dedication to empowering youth through cutting-edge technology. He also leads an AI development team that has launched several impactful tools, including the CSEC Math AI Tutor, AI avatar agents, AI-driven document processing solutions, AI calling agents, and more.
Raj is a highly sought-after speaker in the fields of technology and education, particularly in AI for education. He has delivered key presentations at numerous high-profile events, including the AMCHAM Cyber Conference, the CAPSS Conference in Barbados, St. Vincent, and the Bahamas, Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona, the Network of NGOs' NGO CSW 67 Forum for International Women's Day, and the Global Services Sector Gender Conference in Jamaica.
Raj’s passion extends beyond his professional work, as he remains deeply committed to community service. His efforts to support educational initiatives in "Hot Spot" areas—providing critical learning resources to children from vulnerable communities—earned him the Community Heroes Award from the Ministry of Community Development in 2015. Esther Callender-George

With over 26 years of experience in the Financial Services and Telecommunications industries, Esther is a seasoned information security leader who combines her technical expertise with a strategic business perspective, ensuring security initiatives align with business objectives to deliver value. She plays a critical role in executive and Board communications, translating complex cybersecurity challenges into actionable insights that guide decision-making at the highest levels. Her leadership experience spans the fields of Information Security, Business Continuity, Cybersecurity as well as implementation of new security technologies. As Group Chief Information Security Officer at Guardian Group, she leads the Group’s Information Security function, including cybersecurity operations, AI and emerging technology governance, across its multi-jurisdictional operations.
Beyond technical leadership, she is deeply committed to cybersecurity awareness and education and actively promotes information security literacy among local secondary school and university students, through storytelling and mentorship.
She possesses a BSc in Computer Science and a postgraduate certification in Business Administration. Jeffrey Cernyar
Economic Officer, Embassy of the United States of America
Jeff is an economic officer at the American embassy in Trinidad and Tobago and has served in similar roles in Spain, Belgium, Iraq, Kenya, and Mexico. Jeff grew up in the splendors of the American West, studied engineering, and worked in R&D and plant expansions in the automotive industry. Jeff loves learning from business owners and risktakers and believes international trade is one of the strongest ways we promote understanding. He is married with two adult children
Fareeda Bala
Director, Risk Assurance Services, PwC Trinidad and Tobago
Fareeda has been practicing internal audit since 2011 and is currently a Director in PwC Trinidad and Tobago's Risk Assurance Services practice, which she joined in 2015. Over more than a decade, she has worked across governance, internal audit, and risk management, with significant experience in enterprise risk management (ERM) — having led the design, implementation, and training of ERM programs across multiple large financial and non-financial institutions throughout the region. This includes experience reviewing procurement and third-party risk management processes as part of broader risk management frameworks.
She has led procurement and third-party risk management reviews for a range of entities across the region — including banks, manufacturers, and organizations at varying stages of third-party risk maturity — helping them identify where trusted vendor access can quietly become an organizational vulnerability. This work has included assessing how procurement, compliance, and oversight functions interact to either close or widen the gaps that can be exploited through supply chain and third-party relationships.
Her broader compliance and risk experience includes leading compliance risk management reviews for the region's largest bank and a mid-sized local bank, conducting internal and external audits for regulatory reporting purposes, directing compliance outsourcing engagements for international clients, and supporting investigations into regulatory non-compliance incidents — work that required evaluating not just internal controls, but the external relationships and dependencies that introduced risk in the first place.
Outside of PwC, Fareeda has experience as a Chief Audit Executive (CAE) in financial services and still performs significant work in the sector.
Fareeda is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), holds a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) — a combination that allows her to bridge financial, operational, and IT risk perspectives. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), ISACA, and the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS).

Ziyaad Khan is an accomplished technology and digital transformation leader with over 25 years of experience in the energy industry. He serves as Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure and Operations at Guardian Group, with responsibilities across enterprise architecture, technology governance, infrastructure operations, and solution delivery.
His work connects technology strategy with operational delivery, focusing on the capabilities that enable organizations to sustain critical services and adapt to disruption. Working with government agencies, energy sector stakeholders, and international partners, Aneil has led coordinated assessments of cybersecurity readiness, incorporating red-team exercises and a multi-year roadmap to strengthen security capabilities and operational resilience.
He also serves as Education Director of the ISACA Trinidad and Tobago Chapter, supporting professional development within the local technology community.

Sarah Freeman
Chief Engineer, MITRE
Sarah Freeman is a Chief Engineer at MITRE specializing in critical infrastructure security, cyber-physical systems, and national security. She currently leads MITRE’s work for the NIST Super Intelligence Accelerator for Critical Infrastructure (SI4CI), developing AI-enabled capabilities to detect, assess, and respond to cyber threats against operational technology.
Prior to MITRE, Freeman spent a decade at Idaho National Laboratory, where she led the U.S. Department of Energy’s technical analysis of the 2015 Ukraine electric grid cyberattack and subsequently provided cybersecurity training to Ukrainian asset owners and operators. Her work spans cyber threat analysis, critical infrastructure resilience, and international capacity building, with a focus on translating technical cyber risk into operational and national security consequences.

Anthony is a Partner with PwC Trinidad with over 15 years professional services experience. Anthony is a Certified GIAC Penetration Tester, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional and has completed the SANS 560 Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking course where he won the ‘capture the flag’ challenge which simulated a penetration test of a financial institution. He specializes in delivering cyber security services, and is a subject matter expert in vulnerability assessment, threat modeling and penetration testing.

Dr. Craig Ramlal is the Executive Director of the Artificial Intelligence Innovation Centre (AIIC) at The University of the West Indies (UWI) and serves as the chair of the CTU’s Artificial Intelligence Taskforce which produced harmonized AI policies, recommendations and guidelines for the Caribbean nations. In 2023, the United Nations recognized him as a preeminent AI leader, appointing him to the UN Secretary-General's High-Level Advisory Body on AI. Their recommendations on governing AI for humanity formed Objective 5 of the Global Digital Compact, which was adopted by member states during the 79th UN General Assembly. Previously, he lent his expertise to the development of Singapore’s National AI Research and Development Plan, UNDP+CARICOM's joint regional AI programme 2026-2030 and UN ECLAC's National AI Agenda's for SIDS. He earned his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering through split-site by the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago, and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. His research focuses on control systems, artificial intelligence, and game-theoretic systems.

Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to continuous learning, Bradley progressed through several leadership roles, including NOC Team Leader, NOC Supervisor, Tier 1 Manager of the Regional Network Operations Center, Senior Manager of Solutions Implementation, and Director of Flow Business for Trinidad & Tobago.
Having spent much of his career on the front lines of network operations and enterprise technology, Bradley brings a unique perspective that combines deep technical knowledge with strong commercial leadership. He has led teams serving customers across the Caribbean, overseen the delivery of complex enterprise solutions, and worked closely with organizations navigating digital transformation, cloud adoption, managed services, and cybersecurity challenges.
Today, Bradley serves as Director of Multinational & Government Sales for Liberty Business Caribbean, where he leads strategic engagement with some of the region's largest corporate and government organizations. In this role, he partners with business and public sector leaders to develop technology strategies that enhance security, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term growth.

She leads the Bank’s cybersecurity programme, with responsibility for cyber risk management, security operations, governance, and resilience initiatives. Keisha has served as Chairperson of the CARICOM Cybersecurity Information Sharing Group (CISG) and has led business continuity and cyber incident response initiatives. She holds the CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SSCP, and PMP certifications and is a strong advocate for cybersecurity resilience, regional collaboration, and the secure adoption of emerging technologies.
