Candice Clarke-Salloum

 GM – Corporate Relations
Shell, Trinidad and Tobago

Candice Clarke Salloum is an accomplished corporate relations and external affairs executive with more than 20 years of experience leading strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and corporate reputation initiatives across the Caribbean energy sector.
She currently serves as General Manager – Corporate Relations for Shell Trinidad and Tobago and Country Chair for Shell English Caribbean, where she is responsible for corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, crisis management, corporate social responsibility, and non-technical risk management across Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Latin America and Caribbean region. In this role, she works closely with executive leadership to align communication and engagement strategies with broader business objectives while fostering strong relationships with government, media, community leaders, staff, and other key stakeholders.
Candice is widely recognised for her strategic mindset, collaborative leadership style, and passion for people development. She is deeply committed to mentoring and empowering teams, encouraging innovation, and helping organizations navigate complex and high-pressure environments with clarity and purpose.
Prior to joining Shell, she held senior communications and marketing roles at Clico Investment Bank Limited, the North West Regional Health Authority, and First Citizens Bank. She also began her professional career as a television and radio reporter with Caribbean Communications Network (CCN), building a strong foundation in media and public communication.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Candice is passionate about contributing to national development through volunteerism and service with non-profit organizations.
She holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of the West Indies.
