Amit has risen through the ranks at Honeywell Process Automation, since beginning his journey in 2005 as a Service Engineer here in Trinidad and Tobago. His career has spanned several pivotal roles, with increasing capacity, including Project Manager and Performance Manager. Amit holds an Electrical and Computer Engineering degree from the University of the West Indies and an MBA in Sustainable Energy Management from the prestigious Arthur Lok Graduate School of Business.Throughout his tenure at Honeywell, Amit has spearheaded groundbreaking automation modernization projects. He collaborates closely with stakeholders across the oil and gas sectors, driving initiatives that not only mitigate obsolescence risks but also enhance operator efficiency and skyrocket plant productivity and reliability. His leadership has been instrumental in commissioning and starting up refineries and other plants across the Caribbean, steering automation teams toward remarkable success.In his current role as a Business Development Manager for North and South America, Amit leverages his deep industry knowledge to boost industrial clients' returns on their automation investments. He focuses on Honeywell’s outcome-based after-market service programs.
