In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, and all the changes and innovation that are coming out of it, our theme this year was "Business in the New Normal". To provide greater insight into this topic, we put together an exciting and dynamic panel of experts for our audience:
On Friday 29th May, AMCHAM T&T hosted the first webinar in its Digital Transformation Series: The Time for TECH is now!
Below are the topics covered by our 4 expert panelists.
"The COVID-19 pandemic has totally transformed the way we interact, work, live and learn. Businesses have had to alter almost every facet of operations to survive.
The most effective means of reducing virus transmission are social distancing and rigorous sanitization. And this won’t change until a vaccine is found.
So what does your business need to know in order to survive in these challenging times? Can you future-proof your business?"
Our webinar explored these questions from four perspectives:
COVID-19 is forcing many companies to speed up the timeline of their digital transformations. Until this happens, many of us have been left to utilize improvised work-spaces from our homes with unsecured networks on mobile devices to conduct business.
While all the attention has been focused on containing the spread of the virus, we cannot allow ourselves to ignore another potentially dangerous threat that can cause major harm to our businesses i.e. breaches in our online security.
On Tuesday 12th May, AMCHAM T&T continued its Navigating the Pandemic series with a special webinar dedicated to Cyber Security and best practices in online security.
Our presenters included Shanna Utgard from Defendify, Vernon Jeffery from Readiness Associates, and Anthony Subero and Daniel Gaudreau from Hitachi Systems Security Inc.

The world is experiencing an extraordinary world health emergency. The only way to flatten the curve is to stay at home and limit our contact with others. Health experts are warning that our mental health is at stake, as we keep our social distance. How do you protect your mental health while in self- isolation? What can be done by you to lessen its impact? What can companies do to assist employees in this period of unrest.
