Wade Hamilton holds a Diploma in Engineering, St. Mary’s University, Halifax; Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering, Technical University of Nova Scotia, Canada; EMBA, Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, University of the West Indies; Registered Engineer with Board of Engineering of Trinidad & Tobago and Member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad & Tobago.
Mr. Hamilton’s career spans twenty-eight years in the Petrochemical and Natural Gas Industry. He worked for the National Energy Corporation of Trinidad & Tobago Limited (NEC) before joining the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago (NGCHI assignments include Coordinator to the Trinidad LNG Project in Houston, Texas; Coordinator, business Development to support development initiatives for new energy based projects in Methanol, Ammonia, Ethylene, SynGas, GTLs and other downstream petrochemicals; Manager – Strategic Planning in the Business Development Group with responsibility for implementation of corporate strategy and development and Vice President – Technical Services Group with responsibilities for the Company’s Engineering, Construction and Offshore Facilities and Support Services. He has served on several committees with respect to development of national standards and the promotion of the plastics and chemical sectors. He has also presented a number of papers at various conferences locally and internationally and published several articles in the company’s featured magazines. He is currently championing the development of the NEO/Tobago Pipeline Project, Union Industrial Estate Project (UIE), Liquid Fuels Pipeline Project (LFP) and the Phoenix Park Valve Station Upgrade Project (PPVS)
